Legal Aid Society of Hawaii
Location: Honolulu, Hawai'i
About: The Legal Aid Society of Hawai'i (LASH) is a public interest, non-profit law firm dedicated to achieving fairness and justice through legal advocacy, outreach, and education for those in need. Established in 1950, Legal Aid has 10 offices statewide and over 100 staff members dedicated to achieving Legal Aid's vision of "Building a Just Society."
MONTANA LEGAL SERVICES ASSOCIATION
Location: Missoula, Montana
About: For over fifty years, the Montana Legal Services Association has helped ensure fairness for all in Montana’s justice system by providing civil, non-criminal legal services to low income Montanans living in all 56 Montana counties and on all Tribal Reservations.
Northwest Justice Project
Location: Seattle, Washington
About: NJP's mission is: To secure justice through high quality legal advocacy that promotes the long-term well-being of low-income individuals, families, and communities. As a dynamic statewide law firm, NJP pursues its mission through legal advice and representation, community partnerships, and education to empower clients and combat injustice in all its forms. NJP has 125 attorneys/19 offices.
West Tennessee Legal Services
Location: Nashville, Tennessee
About: For over 30 years, West Tennessee Legal Services has provided access to justice for low-income and vulnerable people in a 17-county, mostly rural area of West Tennessee with civil legal problems affecting basic needs for food security, shelter, medical care, income security, and freedom from abuse.
Colorado Legal Services
Location: Denver, Colorado
About: Colorado Legal Services provides meaningful access to high quality, civil legal services in the pursuit of justice for low-income persons and vulnerable populations.
PINE TREE LEGAL ASSISTANCE
Location: Bangor, Maine
About: Pine Tree Legal Assistance (PTLA) mission is to ensure that state and federal laws affecting poor people are upheld, while also addressing the systemic barriers to justice faced by Mainers with low incomes. To achieve our mission, we provide free civil legal assistance in cases where it can make a difference in one’s ability to meet one’s basic human needs or in enforcing one’s basic human rights, including access to housing, food, income, safety, education, and healthcare.
Northwest Justice Project (LSNTAP)
Location: Seattle, Washington
About: Northwest Justice Project mission is to secure justice through high quality legal advocacy that promotes the long-term well-being of low-income individuals, families, and communities. LEGAL SERVICES LAW LINE OF VERMONT
Location: Burlington, Vermont
About: Legal Services Law Line of Vermont provides legal assistance to thousands of low-income and vulnerable Vermonters statewide. We run Vermont Law Help, an integrated web site and legal help hotline. We also run the Vermont Volunteer Lawyers Project, and support statewide programs to assist seniors and crime victims.
